Obituary of Donna Shirley Robertson

Passed away at Sunnyside Home in Kitchener on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at the age of 86 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.

She rejoins her husband Arthur with whom she shared more than 62 years of love, laughter, travel, and games.

Beloved mother of sons Kelley (Katherine) of Burlington and Ross (Susan) of Waterloo.  Cherished grandmother of Melissa (Jesse), Shannon (Marc), Scott (Katie) and Barbara (Evan), and great-grandmother of Lilly.  Deeply loved by her “little” brother Alwyn Ross (Jeff Andrew).  

Predeceased by her parents Donald and Irene, daughter-in-law Louise, sister Marion, brother Donnie and an infant sister.

Donna will be remembered for her infectious laugh, her love of music, and the joy and care she brought to friends and family.  In 2013 she received an award for more than two decades of volunteering at Community Support Connections and the K-W Friendship Group for Seniors.

The family thanks the staff at Sunnyside Home who became loving and caring members of her family the past four years.

Friends and relatives are invited to a Memorial Service at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo on Friday, April 14th at 2:00pm. A reception will follow.
