Obituary of Alfred Joseph Gelineau

It is with profound sadness that we mourn the loss of our husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who passed away on March 28, 2023.

Fred is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Dorothy, and his children Deborah (Tom) Birkholz, Sandra (Joe) Amodeo, and Rob (Carol Leppinen) Gelineau. Much loved grandfather to Stephanie (Richard) Shanahan, Joey (Robyn) Amodeo, Erik Gelineau, and Benjamin (Emily) Gelineau. Great-grandfather to Landon, Leo, Maizie, Tobias, Elsie, and Lillian. Cherished brother to Barbara (Boyd) McKever and Jack (Donna) Gelineau.

Predeceased by his infant son Desmond, siblings Jeanette (Ernie), Allen, Yvonne (Steve) Thomas, Bob (Marilee) Gelineau, Norma (Larry) Amyotte, and Judy (Terry) Ritza.

Fred was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge. He was also an avid sports man who loved playing golf, hockey, and baseball.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
