Obituary of Albert Vincent Henhoeffer

Passed away peacefully at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on early morning of Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the age of 87.

Loving husband of Sharron (nee Latendresse). Dear father of Richard Henhoeffer (Lynn Kolosjai), Mary Lou (Wayne) Scott, Marjorie Henhoeffer (late Lorne Durocher) Rose Henhoeffer, Sarah Latendresse (Oneil Porter), Chantal Latendresse-Peats (Clive Peats), Ivan Latendresse (Erin McCulloch).  He also has 10 grandchildren.

Will be fondly remembered by his brother Bardon (Karen) Henhoeffer, Rita (late Charles) Hammar, Teresa (Mel) Barrie, Lucy (late Jerry) Speaker and Sheila (Ken) Kurtz.

Predeceased by his parents Jerome and Florence (nee Kieswetter) Henhoeffer.

Albert was a hardworking man with a soft heart, he loved his family and especially loved his pets.  He enjoyed his time watching the news, dedicated Trump Fan, loved fishing, loved playing cards and travelling in his younger years. He always kept busy working at Buds and Uniroyal for many years until retirement at the age of 63.  From retirement to his passing, he loved to keep busy whether it was working out in the garage or taking a drive to visit his friends or taking long drives with his wife.  He loved his cats, especially Junior and his dog Max.

Special thanks to the nurses and PSW’s at Freeport Health Center for taking such great care of him during his stay at their facility.
