Gerry and Joyce will always be remembered with such fondness. They were my godparents and the closest of friends to my parents, Fred and Kathe Schutz and to me personally. They traveled to see us in all the places that we lived in the United States and we enjoyed many lovely times together with laughter, games, card playing, and Gerry's incredible memory for really good stories and jokes. My mother and I pray for Craig and Jenn as they mourn the loss of Gerry and Joyce, and pray that His presence will guide and lift them up in their own life's journey. We are grateful that Gerry and Joyce loved the Lord and knew Him as their Saviour. Thank you to the church for sharing this service on live stream as we watched from Michigan. Dear Craig & family, Thank you for letting us know of your fathers passing. We met your parents in Panama City Beach back in 2007 and hit it off right away. We so enjoyed spending time together and will remember the laughter and jovial banter between us. We hosted dances together, went on Casino bus trips, were involved in many activities and shared many a dinner in each others homes. We will remember Gerry's generosity, kindness, and mischievous nature. Each time we think of your parents, a smile appears and we are thankful that they were a part of our lives. Gerry Ronnenberg and his family were very much a part of my family from early and lifelong friendships with my parents Fred & Kathe Schutz, through the births and life experiences of my sister and brother and our subsequent families. They were my sister's Godparents, but we considered and loved them like Aunts and Uncles, and they will be missed in our lives as such. Thanks to Craig for his kind words and remembrance of our families together. God Bless! Keith
