Obituary of Paul Richard Jackson

May 19, 1948 – April 18, 2023

Paul Richard Jackson passed away at Grand River Hospital at the age of 74 on Tuesday April 18, 2023. Beloved husband of Catherine for 54 years. Proud father to Courtney (Kris) and Jonathan. Devoted grandfather to Ashlyn.

Survived by brother Robert (Chris); sisters-in-law Margaret, Cindy, Mitzie, Celene; brothers-in-law John (Carole), Jim, Bob (Myrna) and Tom (Rose). Paul will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by parents John and Mona Jackson; brothers John, David and Scott; in-laws John and Vera Lauer; brothers-in-law Nick, Larry and Dave; sister-in-law Pat; and niece Sherree.

Paul adored his family and becoming a father at a later age was the highlight of his life. He cherished Ashlyn, even buying a two-person scooter which they drove down the streets, smiles lighting up both of their faces. 

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S. Waterloo, on Saturday April 29^th from 9:00 to 9:45am. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel with reception to follow. Private family interment will occur at a later time.
