Obituary of Danee William Class
Passed away following a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s Disease on Friday, April 21, 2023 at the age of 79 years.
Survived by his loving wife Sharon (nee Howard), his son Scott (Nicola) Class and his beloved grandchildren Ryan and Sydney. Also survived by Sharon’s siblings Gail (Jack) Quail, Ruthanne Matetich, Gerry (Sharon) Howard and Jim (Barb) Howard.
Predeceased by his brother-in-law Rick Matetich and sister-in-law Judy Schmidt.
Danee was born in Kitchener August 9, 1943 to parents Earl and Elva Class (nee Weiler). His grandfather started Class Cartage trucking company and he became a third-generation owner of the business after his father passed away. Danee ran the business with his mother until 1969 when they sold it and he became an employee of the City of Kitchener in 1970 until his retirement. Throughout his life, Danee was passionate about Nascar and his “Habs” the Montreal Canadiens. He will be missed by his family and many friends.

A celebration of Danee’s life will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Fireside Reception Room. Cremation and a private family interment have taken place at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Kitchener.
