Obituary of Richard Kenneth Heimpel
Passed away peacefully on Thursday May 4, 2023 at Innisfree House in Kitchener at the age of 63.
Survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Cathy. Loving father to Mandy and Lisa (Mark Donatelli). Cherished Papa by his granddaughters Allie, Anna and Claire. Much loved by his father Ken.
Predeceased by his mother Pat and brother Terry Heimpel.
His family would like to thank Dr. Dicu and the staff at Grand River Hospital as well as the wonderful staff and volunteers at Innisfree House for their compassionate care.
By his own request there will be no funeral service or visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held by his family at his second home, Rebel Creek Golf Club (1517 Snyder’s Rd E, Petersburg, ON), on Tuesday May 23rd from 2:00 to 4:30. Remarks will be made at 3:30.
