Obituary of Linda Emma Babb

April 20, 1950 to May 18, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Linda Babb on Thursday May 18, 2023 at the age of 73. Dearly missed by her beloved husband of 52 years, Douglas. Proud mother of Steven Babb and Tracy Ranville. Devoted grandmother to Halen and Jessi Ranville. Cherished sibling to Elmer Lehmann, Darlene Lehmann, and Joe Lehmann. Predeceased by her parents Emma and Joseph Lehmann and siblings Beatrice Clegg and Ron Lehmann.

Linda will be remembered for being a loyal caring woman. She was the happiest in her younger years roller skating with friends and family. Also dancing to her favourite songs in her living room listening to Travelling Wilburys, Conway Twitty, Elvis Presley, Jan & Dean, Garth Brookes, Steve Earl, Lesley Gore and many more. She loved music!!! She loved traveling to the CNE in Toronto and Niagara Falls. Her special time of year most of all was Christmas and decorating the house top to bottom. She loved spending time working in her gardens making her rose bushes beautiful. Linda was beloved by all her friends at Cluthe Manufacturing, Tu Lanes and Courtyard Marriott. She was known for receiving a recognition award in 2012 from the Marriott, playing an important role in the opening of Courtyard by Marriott Waterloo St. Jacobs. We are sincerely grateful to the many family and friends who have given us support and comfort during this time of loss.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday May 25 from 12:00 to 12:45pm at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo.
