Obituary of Judy Ann Muegge

July 3, 1947 - June 3, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Judy Ann Muegge (nee Smith).  She passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by those she loved after a difficult but courageous battle with cancer. While she will be missed greatly, her faith held her close to the Lord and she will be rejoicing in heaven.

Judy was the beloved wife of Ed, married for 50 years. Her presence will be missed in their home.  Devoted mother of Jason Muegge and his wife Melissa, and Carri Bryce and her husband Gord. Judy was the proud, most cherished Nanny of Lylah and Sawyer Bryce, Reid and Wyatt Muegge.  She was the loved daughter-in-law of Gladys and Eldon Muegge.  Her joy came from her family, children, grandchildren and being a part of their everyday lives. 

Judy was the twin sister of Jerry Smith (Sandy), predeceased by their parents George and Anne Smith, brother George AKA “Great George” and sister Joan.

Judy was a successful businesswoman, she loved people and excelled at whatever she put her mind to.  She was a dedicated follower of Christ and long-time member of Creekside Church where she formed many friendships and loved the opportunities to serve others.       

A Memorial Service to celebrate Judy’s life and legacy will be held at Creekside Church, 660 Conservation Dr., Waterloo on Wednesday July 5, 2023.  Visitation from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm with funeral service and reception to follow.
