Obituary of Robert Alexander Sherriffs
Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Friday, June 9, 2023 at the young age of 69.
Survived by his children Lora Snyders (Pierre), Lisa Kennedy (Duncan), and Jason Snyders, grandchildren Daniel, Kassandra, Logan, Quinn, and Abbygail, great-grandchild Serenity, sister-in-law Hanni Pflug (David), brother Murray, sisters Sandra and Barb (Bill), nieces and nephews Jamie (Angela), Johnnie, Tania (Scott), Brandi, Stephen, Scott, Barry, Dale, Michael, Heather, Chris, and Trisha, and many more extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Christa Sherriffs, his parents Verna and Archie Sherriffs, and his grandchild Matthew.
Robert was a man of few words who was always loving, kind, and humble. He worked for Pannill Veneer, Uniroyal Goodrich, and Airboss, developing many friendships there. Robert was also a talented handyman and enjoyed building things. He loved to travel, and especially loved drinking coffee and eating pies.
Special thanks to the staff at Lanark Heights for the care and compassion they showed to Robert.
Cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives are invited to a come-and-go style Celebration of Life at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S. on Thursday, August 3rd from 1pm – 4pm. Private interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
