Passed away on June 12, 2023 at the age of 87 years.

Katie was a loving mother to Arnold, Elisabeth and Heidi, cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren; Benjamin, Erik, Monika, Andrew, Sarah, Kendrik, Alaina, Aedan, Anthony, Andrew and Alexander. Katie will be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.

Predeceased by her husband John, her parents Kornelius and Elisabeth Rempel as well as all her siblings.

Katie was born on February 26, 1936 in Santa Catarina, Brazil. She came to Canada in 1965. Katie was a faithful member of W-K United Mennonite Church, Waterloo

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 10:00 am – 10:45 am. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:00 am. A private family interment will be held at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
