I was saddened to read of Bob’s passing this morning in the paper. I along with many of my children have many fond memories of Bob during his time as a crossing guard in the Pioneer Park area. He went out of his way to interact with the kids (and parents) to make sure we all had a smile and between his red nose and his stop sign guitar that he would dance around with, he always succeeded. He was the reason many kids started their school day happy!
My daughter and I were fortunate to see Bob a few months back at a local store, although it had been many years, my daughter recognized him immediately and he responded with the biggest smile. Bob truly was the highlight of my kids day and I appreciated the good energy he spread.
Our deepest heartfelt condolences to his family, Bob will be missed.
Thank you Bob for all the smiles
