Obituary of Irma Leah Fox

Passed away peacefully to be with the Lord at Barnswallow Place Care Community in Elmira on Thursday July 27, 2023, at age 88.

Irma has been reunited with her late husband Donald of 60 years. Loving mother of Ruth (Randy) Huard and Wendy Shantz. Cherished grandmother of Jessica, Nathan (Danielle), Stephanie (Justin), Elliott, Charlotte (Paul), Megan, and Andrea (Cris); great-grandmother of William, Ben, Jase and Josephine. She will be greatly missed by her brother, sister, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, niece and nephews.

Special thanks to the all the nurses and staff at Chartwell Retirement Home for the love and support given to Irma and her family, as well as the team at Barnswallow Place Care Community for the compassion and care they showed Irma while she was in their care. We would also like to extend our gratitude to Sarah, a special friend and support of our parents. She spent countless hours caring for them during the pandemic and during their stay at the retirement home.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday July 31, 2023 from 10:30 - 11:15 a.m.  The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday July 31, 2023 at 11:30 am., with Rev. Bill Horne officiating.  A private family interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
