Obituary of Ronald La Flamme
It is with sadness, but gratitude for a life well-lived, that we announce the passing of Ronald La Flamme, surrounded by family after a lengthy illness at Grand River Freeport in Kitchener on Thursday August 17, 2023 at the age of 86.
Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Angela (nee Drexler), his son Alan (Karen) of Woodstock, GA, his son Andy (Sylvie) of North Saanich, BC, his grandchildren Nina, Chantal, and Andre, and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his father Martin, mother Talitha (nee Schmidt), brother Richard (Rose), and sister Ruth (Walter) Nosal.
Ronald was born on April 6, 1937 in Kitchener and raised in Waterloo. He was a long-time employee at BF Goodrich in Kitchener. Everyone who knew Ronald will remember his enormous heart and always caring for others first.
There will be a memorial service at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday August 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. A reception in the Fireside Reception Room will follow the service. A private interment will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Waterloo.
