Obituary of Jocelyn Kennedy (nee Gauthier)

Passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener on Friday, August 18, 2023.

Survived by her loving husband, J. David Kennedy of 43 years.  By children Todd, Monique, Leslie, and Catherine. By grandchildren: Danielle, Shawn, Jason, Dana and 11 great-grand children. Jocelyn will be dearly missed by her longtime friend, June Cauthers.  Also by her nieces, nephews and many friends. Special gratitude to her niece, Alison Hendry and the terrific team of dedicated caregivers.

Predeceased by her parents, Paul Gauthier & Agnes (McMillan) Gauthier, sister, Diana Renaud brothers Ivan and David Gauthier, sister-in-law, Claire Gauthier and brother-in-law, Paul Renaud and son John Kennedy.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S. Waterloo on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and  Thursday,  August 24, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., with the funeral service to follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:00 a.m.  A reception will immediately follow in the Fireside Reception Room. A private family interment will be held at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
