Obituary of Gail Hoffman

Hoffman, Gail (née Henderson)

June 17, 1939 – August 25, 2023

Gail passed away peacefully at Hospice of Waterloo on Friday August 25, 2023, at age 84.  

She is survived by her children Dennis (Stasha), Gary (L’orean), Ron (Carolann) and Nancy (David), grandchildren Michaela (Daniel) and Nicholas, great grandchildren Lucas and Owen, and younger brother Wayne.

Gail has gone to join her family in heaven, her loving husband Albert of over 60 years, parents Eric and Thelma, and beloved grandson Alex.

Gail was a proud member of First Baptist Church in Waterloo, she volunteered with many programs including Christian horizons, the Vacation Bible School, as well as countless hours preparing food and drinks for the congregation.

Special thanks to the team at the hospice of waterloo for the care and compassion they gave to Gail and her family while she was in their care, especially the nurses and volunteers.

The funeral service for Gail will take place at First Baptist Church, 306 Erb St W, Waterloo, on Friday September 1, 2023, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Snell presiding, followed by a reception in the Church Hall.  Cremation will have taken place.
