Obituary of Karen Jean Weber

It is with deep sadness that the family of Karen Jean Weber (nee Myers) announce her peaceful passing at Chartwell Westmount LTC on Tuesday August 29, 2023 at the age of 80.

Survived by her loving husband of 59 years Cletus ‘Clayt’. Remembered by her loving sister Lynn (Don) and their children Jason and Julie (Trevor). She will be cherished by her great nieces and nephews Brittany (Colin), Anderson, Torin and Sage. Missed by brother-in-law Eugene ‘Webe’ (Judy) and their children Robin, Jeff, Cory (Carrie) and Wendy. Missed by sister-in-law Marguerite (Sonto) and their children Gennero ‘Gerry’ (Francis), Andrea and Mary (Josh). Predeceased by her loving parents George and Elaine Myers. She will also be greatly missed by extended family members and friends.

We will remember Karen for her kind and gentle soul. She was very hardworking and dedicated as a legal secretary and took great pride in her accomplishments in helping others. Karen enjoyed in her retirement years travel with Clayt to the cottage in Southhampton.

Karen’s family would like to give special and heartfelt thanks to all of the PSW’s, nurses, doctors, volunteers and staff who took exceptional care of her at Chartwell Westmount LTC. Karen adored her PSW Carol who always made her smile and laugh and gave great comfort to her family.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday September 1, 2023 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Heike Toeller officiating. Reception will follow in the fireside reception room of the funeral home. The burial will take place at Woodland Cemetery, 119 Arlington Blvd Kitchener.
