Obituary of Jean Mae Ciuman

Passed away peacefully at Sunnyside Home LTC, Kitchener on September 4, 2023 at the age of 91.  Jean has gone to be with her beloved husband, Edward Ciuman (1993).

Loving mother of Paul (Laura) Ciuman. Cherished grandmother of Brooke, Adam and Grace. Jean adored her grandchildren and all who knew Jean knew her grandchildren meant the world to her.  Will be fondly remembered by her nephew Gerald (Liz) McKinnon, as well as her nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Predeceased by her parents Harey and Edna (nee Heibein) Lenhard, sister Audrey (Bob) Noble, Dorothy (Chuck) McKinnon and her twin Gerald Lenhard in infancy, and nephew David McKinnon.

Jean was a past member of Emmanuel United Church.  She loved spending time and going out socially with family and friends.  She was a dedicated volunteer with Meals on Wheels and worked at MTD until retirement. She had a great love for dogs. 

A special thank you to all the staff at Sunnyside Home for all their love and support given to Jean.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.  The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. followed by the interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. A reception will follow the interment in the funeral home’s Fireside Reception Room.
