Mahlon Roes
November 17, 1933 - September 22, 2023.
Mahlon passed away peacefully in his 90th year, surrounded by his loving family. Mahlon loved God, his wife and his family. We feel so blessed and grateful for his unwavering love, support and kindness. He truly was a special man to many.
Loving husband for 67 years of Pearl (née Roth) Roes, devoted father of Karen (Bill) Hiltz, Marilyn (Murray) Leis, Don Roes and Linda (Dan) Dreveny. Caring grandfather of Melody (Ryan) Kneisel, Roland Hiltz, Shannon Leis, Chad (Tania) Roes, Todd (Erin) Roes, Kricia (Brandon) Heyer, Calli (Tyler) Shaw and Michelle (Stephen) Sawatsky. Loving great grandfather of Brooklynn and Zoey Kneisel, Ellie and Simon Roes, Lucas, Mark, Alli and John Roes, and Lewa and Toby Heyer.
Survived by his sister Eva Erb, brother Gerald and Diane Roes and sister-in-law May Roes. Survived by his brother-in-law Willard and Ada Roth and sisters-in-law Ruby Roth and Lorna Roth. Remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Noah and Lydia (née Lichti) and parents-in-law Benjamin and Amanda (née Everatt) Roth.
Predeceased by his brothers Melvin and Jacob Roes and brother-in-law Earl Erb. Predeceased by brothers and sisters-in-law John and Beulah Wagler, Phil Shepherd, Nelson and Elmeta Roth, Milford and Merva Roth, Elton Roth, Catherine Roth, Hilda and Walter Burkhardt, Ray McEwin and Harold Roth.
The visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
The Celebration of Life will take place at Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly, 395 King St. N, Waterloo. on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
