Obituary of Nancy Pearson

It is with great sadness and much love that the family of Nancy Pearson announces her passing on August 28, 2023, at the age of 64 after a long and hard battle with various health issues.  Nancy passed away at the Royal Alexandra Hospital with her husband Mike by her side.

Nancy was born on September 6, 1958, in Kitchner, Ontario. She attended Wilson Avenue Public School, Sunnyside Public School, and Eastwood Collegiate Institute in Kitchner until she moved to Alberta in 1995.  Nancy met Mike 20 years ago, in 2003 and they built a life together.  Nancy was known for her love of cats - most memorably, Charlie the cat.

She is survived by her loving husband Mike.  As well as her daughter; Cara (Leigh) Grant their children Carleigh and Maverick. Her daughter Ashley Brown, her children; Aalyiha, Ciara, Alanna, and Jasmine. Her sister Brenda Rose and brother Dan (Kelly) Rose. 

She is predeceased by her mother and father; Betty (nee Wagner) and Joshua George Rose. As well as her sister, Sandra Nuber.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, October 6, 2023, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at  the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S., Waterloo, Ontario.

The family wishes to thank the all of the first responders as well as the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff for their care and compassion for Nancy during each stay.  Thank you for your dedication to your work.

The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of charitable donations to an independent animal society of your choice.
