A life well lived.

The family of Elsie B. Eva (nee Vetter) sadly announce her passing on October 7, 2023 in her 95th year.

Born in Lemberg, Saskatchewan on November 16, 1928.  She moved to Hanover, Ontario as a young child and then to Waterloo in 1948 with her new husband, Wilfred.

Elsie was predeceased by her parents, Adam & Katherine Vetter, her husband Wilfred Eva, her son Thomas (Anita), her husband Kenneth Kaufman, her siblings Clara Paul, Chris Gardiner & John Vetter.

She is survived by her sons Jack (Catherine) & Jim, her grandchildren Kristen, Greg (Isabelle), Maryl (Joe) and Kurt and one great granddaughter, Lucie, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Mom enjoyed her years at Waterloo Heights where she connected with numerous friends from her past while also making new friends.

Special thanks to all the great people at Waterloo Heights, especially Maia, the nursing staff at St. Mary’s on the 5^th floor and the wonderfully caring team at Hospice Waterloo.

Visitation will be at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home at 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday October 11^th from 7-9pm and Thursday October 12^th from 10-11 followed by the service at 11.  Lunch will be served after service followed by the interment ceremony at Parkview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Grand River Hospital - Cancer Center, Hospice Waterloo Region or The Food Bank of Waterloo Region would be appreciated by the family.
