Obituary of Atticus Anthony Makuch

It is with the heaviest of hearts and the most profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our sweet perfect boy in the early hours of October 5th, 2023.

Atticus is survived by his loving parents, Ashley Makuch and Derek Schultz, his sister Sadie, his brothers Seth, Caius and Maxwell and his grandparents Tony and Sylvia Makuch, Brett and Monica Schultz, Marilyn Jones and Kenneth Toulouse. Atticus was also lucky to have many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who he loved dearly.

Atticus was the love of our lives; he lit up every room he entered. He was kind, funny, outgoing, witty, stubborn and so much fun to be around. He was the best brother and the best son in the whole wide world, and we are so sad that we have to live in a world without him in it. Atticus loved hockey, soccer, going to the cottage, fishing and Lego but what he loved most of all was his family. So please hug yours tightly and hug your kids harder. We would give absolutely anything to hug him one more time.

Special thanks to all the emergency personnel and doctors, nurses and staff at Grand River Hospital.

A visitation and a time to support the family will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Cremation will take place.

In lieu of flowers, condolences for the family and donations to the Kitchener Waterloo Humane Society may be arranged through the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S. Waterloo at www.erbgood.com
