Albert Alfred Cole
July 22, 1938 – October 29, 2023

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at the age of 85 after a long battle with cancer.

Albert will be deeply missed by his wife of 63 years Beatrice, daughter Lisa, and son-in-law Warren Booth, and extended family John and Sandra Booth.

Born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late Charles Herbert Cole, and Winnifred (Thomas). Survived by his brother Michael, predeceased by his brothers Ronald, Charles, Gordon, Gerald, Kenneth, Robert, and Howard Cole. Albert will be sorely missed by his many friends, co-workers, nieces, and nephews.

Albert was an electrician by trade for over 60 years, and moved with his wife Beatrice to Brampton, Ontario in 1965, eventually moving to the Kitchener/Waterloo area in 2019. During his time in Brampton, he made many life-long friends through both the Brampton Old-Timers hockey league, and managing the Brampton Slow-Stars hockey team. He was also an avid fan of NASCAR racing, spending each Sunday watching.

Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff in the Grand River Hospital Palliative Care Unit – Freeport Campus in Kitchener, all of whom provided Albert and his family such kindness, care, and compassion.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo from 1pm – 4pm in the Fireside Reception Room, with a sharing of memories at 2pm.
