Fran took a down-to-earth and no-nonsense approach when addressing important club concerns. I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. McIntosh's passing. I was impressed by her intelligence and good nature every time I had the fortune to see her. I have to admit I was unaware of her many accomplishments and achievements. Hers was a life well lived.

We can be sad at Fran's passing but that is in part because she was such positive force for good. In my memory she was a great role model, a tireless worker in all she tackled AND my favourite sunday school teacher--encouraging and oh so patient with us teenagers. Her memory is a blessing. Patrick

I was very sorry to hear about Fran's death. I worked at Equitable Life for many years and met her many times over the years through Ian and thought she was a very nice person and very talented. She always made us feel very welcome when we were invited to their home for Christmas or other parties they had for Ian's staff. She will be missed by many. My condolences to the family.
