Obituary of Jamison Rose

October 28, 1963- November 4, 2023

Jamie passed away unexpectedly on Saturday November 4, 2023, at age 60.

Survived by his mother Marlin Rose, brothers Steve (Shelly), Jeff, Chris (Ellie), sister Jennifer (John).

Predeceased by his father John Rose, sister Wendy Rose-Kelley, and his nephew Joshua Todd Rose.

Jamie had a cheery disposition and a positive outlook, always ready to share his sense of humor for a laugh with all.  Quick to lend a hand to those around him with a generosity not common to those in his position.  He was very proud of his career in cement-pouring construction, often mentioning many of the buildings throughout Kitchener-Waterloo that he had a hand in building with his crew as a Foreman. He mentioned more than a few times the McDonald’s drive through by the now Google building.

A special thanks goes to the current and former property managers and owners (Grant, Manuel, Cambridge East Developments) of his most recent apartment who treated him with dignity and respect after losing his nephew last year as they shared tenancy.  A special thanks also goes to his sister, Jennifer, who dedicated much time to Jamie ensuring his needs were met thus making his life a little bit better.

Cremation has taken place.  A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, November 16th, 2023, at Parkview Cemetery, 335 University Ave, Waterloo.
