Obituary of John Lockhart Leask

Passed away peacefully at Innisfree House, Kitchener on Friday, November 17, 2023 at the age of 85 years.

 

Survived by his beloved wife of over 61 years, Marcia, his loving children, Benita (Terry) Peebles and Frank (Sheila) Leask and his cherished grandchildren of whom he was very proud, Emily, Eric, Stephanie and Rose.

 

John was born in Cumberland County Nova Scotia and was raised in both Hartford and Great Village NS before going to Mount Allison University and the Nova Scotia Technical College graduating in Chemical Engineering and he obtained an M.B.A. from New York University.  After retirement, John and Marcia enjoyed travelling to many countries together.

 

Special thanks are extended by the family to Dr. Gino Pannozzo, Phil Hudson of Beechwood Pharmacy and the entire staff of Innisfree Hospice for their exceptional care and support shown to the Leask family.

 

Respecting John’s wishes, a private family service will be held and cremation will take place.
