Obituary of Grace Marian Campbell
In her 90th year, Grace Campbell (George) passed away peacefully on Saturday November 18, 2023 surrounded by her family. She will be greatly missed by her two sons, her daughters-in-law, four grandchildren and one great grandchild; Dan and Joanne, Alex (Kathleen), Maggie (Ian), Sarah (Tyler) and Lucas; Rob and Nancy and Emily.
Predeceased by her husband of 38 years James Douglas Campbell, brothers Bill and Hugh and sisters Doris (Burgess) and Trudie (Decedar).
A resident of London Ontario for over 53 years, Grace started working for St. Josephs Hospital (SJH) in 1964 as an x-ray technologist, becoming the Clinical Instructor in 1969. She retired from SJH in 1994.
Grace’s real pride was her family. A very accomplished seamstress and quilter, Grace made each of her sons and grandchildren a beautiful quilt to remember her by.
Grace will be interred in the Evergreen Cemetery in Blenheim. The family will celebrate Grace’s life privately.
Instead of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Grace are asked to consider the Canadian Hearing Society.
