Obituary of Louise Elizabeth Kirvan

Louise Elizabeth Kirvan (nee Goulet) of Waterloo passed away suddenly on December 7, 2023 at St. Mary’s Hospital in her 81^st year.

Cherished wife for 58 years of Ron, beloved mother of Darcel (Vince Cook) and Kyle. Survived by her sister Felician Sr. Mary Celeste (Josephine) Goulet, brothers-in-law Robert Schroeder and Paul Kirvan, sister-in-law Sr. Norma Kirvan IBVM and nieces Lisa Sharman (Ken) and Midori Schroeder (Denny). Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Louise Goulet, in laws Norman and Victorine Kirvan, brothers Bernard and Gerard, sister Marie, sister-in-law Susie Chick and brother-in-law John Kirvan.

Graduate of Lakeshore Teachers College and St. Jerome’s University. Louise was a much loved teacher in the separate schools of Guelph and Kitchener-Waterloo. In more recent years she turned her talents to the running of Kirvan Furniture & Design Centre, Louise Kirvan Interiors, The Games Room & Bar Shoppe and Great Outdoors RV Center. She enjoyed painting, sewing and exploring North America in the family motorhome. Louise never met a dog she didn’t like.

The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael’s RC Church, 80 University Ave W, Waterloo on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 10am, followed by an interment at Parkview Cemetery, and a reception in the church hall.
