Obituary of Edna Mae O'Brien

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Conestoga Lodge, Kitchener at the age of 95. 

 

Loving mother of Sharyn Snyder and her husband Kenneth and Wendy O’Brien and her husband Barry. Cherished grandmother of Emmanuel Ewara, Eyo Ewara, Amelia Ewara, Robyn Church, Heather Schmitz, and John Hemmerly. Will be fondly remembered by four great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

 

Predeceased by her husband Gerald O’Brien (2010); parents Noah and Nancy (nee Gascho) Erb; siblings Clayton (Marjorie), Melvin (Edith), Vernon, Luella (Roy) Nafziger, Wilfred (Rita) and Raymond (Lucy).

 

Edna was a long-time member of Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church, Kitchener.  She was employed and retired from Electrohome after 37 years.

 

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday December 29, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens, Breslau.  A reception will be held in the Kuntz House of the funeral home following the interment.
