Peacefully, at St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener on January 1 2024, age 86.

Beloved mother of Heather Kennedy and treasured Mam of Kyle Pickering (Hannah). Remembered by brother-in-law Terry Kennedy (Joan), nieces Sheryl Carriere (Garry), Cherie May (Doug), Delanne Kuehl, Kelli Kennedy, 5 great nieces, 1 great-great niece, and a large family in England.

Peggy arrived in Canada in 1964 to stay with her twin brother and his wife. They introduced her to Douglas Kennedy, who offered her either a plane ticket home or an engagement ring in 1965 when she was due to leave. They were married over 52 years when he predeceased her in 2019.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 10 – 10:45 a.m., with the funeral service to follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m. Interment to be held at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
