Obituary of Suzanna Krysciak

In cherished memory of Suzanna Krysciak, a life well lived, she has now found eternal reunion with her beloved husband, Tadeusz (d2017), whom she married in 1955. Their love story began in art school, where both pursued their passion for photography. A single dance was all it took for wedding plans to unfold. Together, the adventurous couple explored their homeland on a motorcycle before embarking on a joint venture in the world of photography. In 1965, the call of Canada beckoned, and with their three children in tow, the family emigrated from Poland, eventually settling in Waterloo. Though not without its challenges, their journey was undeniably beautiful. Suzanna faced and triumphed over three bouts of cancer yet endured the heart-wrenching loss of her cherished daughter, Lydia.

Suzanna leaves behind a legacy that will be deeply missed by her surviving children, Mark, Wally, and Andrzej. Her late daughter Lydia undoubtedly waits with open arms to welcome her home. Suzanna's presence will be profoundly missed by her grandchildren Andrew, Tristan, Sarah, Emily, Christopher, Aaron, Paul, Aiden, Avery, Malcolm, and great-grandson Lachlan, who affectionately knew her as "Babcia." Daughters-in-law Darquise, Allison and Debbie hold fond memories of their dear second mother.

Friends are invited to join Suzanna's family in commemorating her life during a memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 2:00-2:45 p.m., with a celebration of life to follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. A reception will follow.
