Obituary of Stefan Waldemar Ziegler
Passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 6, 2024, just three days shy of his 86th birthday.
Predeceased by his parents Matilda and Stefan Ziegler and his sister Tillie.
Survived by Jean, his beloved wife of 59 years, nephews Mark Koppeser and his wife Audrey, and Michael Koppeser and his wife Nadine, his in-laws Thelma Donald, Carolyn and Don Lewis, Robert Helm, and their families.
Steve spent his entire working career of 38 years with Bell Canada, although he never enjoyed talking on the phone. He loved to tinker with electronics. Music, and in particular bluegrass, was an important part of his life, and he played with his band for years. He also enjoyed travelling, and took many road trips and cruises.
