I'm so deeply, deeply sorry to learn of Christa's passing. As a teenager, I knew Christa and Joe, her late beloved husband, when they lived in Wawa. They were so kind to me in many ways. Their door was always open, and I was invariably welcomed with a cup of tea and something tasty to eat. We had lovely conversations. I still have - and cherish - the crystal necklace and earrings set they gave me for my 18th birthday.
Thank you, Christa, for having been a part of my life during those early years in Wawa.
