Obituary of William Peter Wilson

William Peter “Bill” Wilson passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at the age of 79.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his sister Diane Carey (Bill), nephew Michael Carey and his children Brittany, Scott, and Josh, nephew Geoff Carey (Norma), nephews Kris Haranyi, Trevor Haranyi, Tim Hay and his children Austin and Tori, niece Jenn Hay (Marlon) and their children Hayden and Tarran, and his late nephew Anthony’s wife Christine and their children Shane and Riley.

Bill was predeceased by his parents Woodrow and Edna Wilson, sisters Linda Hay (Wayne) and Karen Haranyi, and his nephew Anthony Wilson.

Bill worked at Walter Fedy all his working life. He enjoyed the cottage at Conestoga Lake and listening to country-western music. In Bill’s own words: “The less you know about me, the better off you are!”

Cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives are invited to a Visitation at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo on Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with special remarks to be said at 3:30 p.m. Refreshments will be available.
