Obituary of Mihajlo Vukicevic
January 7, 1949 – January 13, 2024
Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday January 13th, 2024, at age 75.
Survived by loving wife Gordana Vukicevic of 53 years, son Dragan (Suzanna) Vukicevic, daughter Mirjana (Milun) Jevremovic and grandson Teodor Jevremovic.
Predeceased by his parents Milivoje Vukicevic and Milenka Vukicevic.
Mihajlo was a remarkable man whose life was a testament to love, sacrifice, and the pursuit of dreams. Born on the sacred day of Orthodox Christmas, January 7th, 1949, and departing on the auspicious Serbian New Year, January 13th, 2024, Mihajlo's journey was intertwined with the threads of divine timing.
To say that Mihajlo was imbued with holy energy would be an understatement. He was a beacon of kindness, a loving father, a devoted husband, and a cherished friend. Mihajlo found comfort and joy in working with his hands, pouring his creativity into various projects. In pursuit of a better future, Mihajlo made the courageous decision to immigrate to Canada, bringing his entire family from Serbia. A diligent and hardworking provider, he sacrificed tirelessly to ensure his loved ones had access to opportunities and the promise of a better life. His selflessness knew no bounds, and his enduring love was the driving force for his family.
Mihajlo's legacy is one of unyielding love and unwavering dedication. His impact on those around him was evident, as shown by the outpouring of love from all who knew him. His love was limitless, and in turn, he was surrounded by affection from family and friends.

Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
