Obituary of Nickolaus Hammer

Passed away peacefully, at the Village of Winston Park, Long Term Care, Kitchener, on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the age of 94 years.

Survived by his children, Erika (Douglas) Dubrick and Dave (Betty) Hammer. Loving grandfather to Derek (Pamela) Hammer and Alex (Maggie Dolbeer) Hammer. Special great-grandfather to Abigail Hammer and Isla Hammer.

Predeceased by his wife, Christine (Oma) Hammer in 2010.

Opa was a bricklayer by trade. He enjoyed his life to the fullest and was especially happy at the "Farm". He was a kind and generous man, and his family meant everything to him. 

Special thanks to the staff at Pinehaven and then at Winston Park Long Term Care. He was treated with dignity and respect.

A family service has taken place at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
