Obituary of Pauline Marie Dietrich
Passed away peacefully at Sunnyside home Kitchener on Monday January 22, 2024, in her 98th year with family by her side.
Wife and lifelong partner of the late Arthur J. Dietrich for 79 years. Loving mother to their children Donna (the Late John) Deamer, John Dietrich, Bernice (Pat) Muller, Art (Marion) Dietrich and Kathy Darby. Pauline leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and some great-great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
Predeceased by her sisters and brother and their spouses. Also, by three sons Ron, Rick and Dan, grandson Ken Graham.
She met Arthur at Electrohome and was also employed by Smiles and Chuckles. After the eight children were grown Pauline went out to work for The Kitchener Record (Waterloo Region Record) as a proofreader. Mom spent many hours fishing alongside dad, their weekly card games with good friends, and enjoyed going to Bingo at the St. Clements Community Centre. They spent many of their retirement winter years in Homosassa Springs, Florida.
Special thanks to all the Staff at Sunnyside who gave mom the compassion and care she needed.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service is being held in Memory of Pauline.
