Obituary of Roderick Franklin Kane

Roderick Franklin Kane passed away suddenly during a cardiac event on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the age of 66.

He is survived by his loving sister Rhonda Kane of Waterloo and his niece Caitlin of Aberdeen, Scotland. Rod was predeceased by his father Roger Kane, mother Barbara Kane, and his brother Randall Kane.

Rod was an avid outdoorsman and will be remembered for his quiet personality and deep connection with nature. He was also a talented computer programmer.

Cremation has taken place. A Wilderness Ceremony of Remembrance will take place in July, 2024 in Kilarney Park, Ontario. Friends and family may reach out to Rhonda for more details.
