Auger, John Philip

June 28, 1943- January 22, 2024

AUGER, John Philip of Kitchener - Waterloo, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 22, 2024, in his 81^st year.  A devoted family man and lifelong resident supporting various community efforts in Waterloo Region.

Beloved husband of Linda (nee Crew) and late wife Edie (nee Klinck). Loved father to Wendy (Mark) and Steve (Xiaoxi), and step-dad to Catherine (Tom), Alex (Brianne), Amanda (Andrew), and Meghan (Graeme).

Loving grandfather of Liam, Alicia, Brook, Trent, Victoria, Grayson, Isla, Isobel, Gabriella, Henrik, Josephine, William, Katelyn, Isaac, Elliott, and Baby K.  Son of Wray and Vivian Auger. 

Cherished lovingly by his brothers Pierre and David (Dawn), his late Aunt Alberta and Uncle Harold Auger, along with his many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends near and far.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 11 a.m. -12:45 p.m.  A celebration of life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 1 p.m. followed by a reception in the Fireside Reception Room.  Cremation will have taken place, and a private family interment will be held at Parkview Cemetery.
