Obituary of Rosemary Magloughlen

Passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Monday, January 29, 2024, in her 80^th year.

Rosemary will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Robin and Karen, son-in-law Michael, grandchildren Catherine, Brandon, Isabel, and Jessica, sister Chelta Jean Caley, and extended family members and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Bob, and her parents Gladys and Howard Utter.

Rosemary was an amazing mom and grandma who was very proud of her family. She was independent, loved her home, the holidays, and making every celebration special. She loved Elvis (and only the real Elvis), as well as listening to her favourite country music. She enjoyed bird watching, fishing, and making cards, and she loved all animals, especially her cats.

Special thanks to the staff at Freeport Hospital’s Palliative Care Unit for their support on Rosemary’s final day. Thank you also to the “Mississauga Gang” for being her best friends.

Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at Rosemary’s home on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
