Obituary of Wally Weber

Wally passed away peacefully surrounded by family at St. Mary’s Hospital on Tuesday February 6, 2024 at age 94.

Wally will be dearly missed by his loving wife Evelyn (nee Thaler) of 69 years, son Jeff (Jennifer), granddaughter Mackenzie. He will be remembered by sister-in-law Joanne and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents George and Ruby (nee Filsinger) Weber, sisters June and Marguerite. As well as his brothers and sisters-in-law.  

Wally loved spending time outdoors, he enjoyed snowmobiling and hunting. You could often find Wally in his garden or riding his bike around the neighbourhood. He was a jack of all trades, he could fix or build anything, he even built three houses for his family. In his later years he enjoyed puzzles and spending time with his family. Wally will be remembered for his sense of humour, though a bit dry at times.

A celebration of life will be held in memory of Wally in the Fireside Reception Room of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday March 2, 2024 from 2-5 p.m. Cremation will have taken place.
