Obituary of Jacques Joseph Lucien Legault

Born in Hanmer, Ontario on Oct 7, 1944. Deceased on February 10, 2024, at age 79. Jack was surrounded by loving family, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Jack was a skilled craftsman, and passed along his strong work ethic to all of his children. A true Jack-of-all-trades, forever ready to help. He always said “yes”. No challenge was too great. Father to Carolynn (Kevin), Vince (Tammy), Charlene Bauer (Ross), Craig (pre-deceased 2012), Curtis (Tina), Cassandra Flikweert (Theo), Calvin Smith (Sara), and Connie Farina (Kevin). Papa Jack to Chad, Justin, Travis, Jessica, Eric, Mia, Austin, Hope, Wyatt, Emmett, Wesley, Hayden, Adalynn, Alexis, and Lucas. Great-grandfather to Emery and Easton.

A very special thanks to the staff at the Village At University Gates, Hagey Village, for their tireless care and compassion. Jack enjoyed warmth and affection there for almost 3 years.
