Weigel, Robert Thomas

1932-2024

Passed away with family by his side at Guelph General Hospital on Wednesday February 14, 2024 at age 91.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife Marlene (nee Lack) of 67 years, his children Stephen, Scott (Jennifer), Mary Ellen (Sylvia), and Julie Weigel as well as his sister and brother-in-law Margaret (John) Schuller. He will be remembered by his in-laws, many nieces, nephews and friends. 

Predeceased by his parents Otto and Sarah (nee Kinzie) Weigel, and two brothers and sister-in-law Frederick (the late Audrey) Weigel and Gerald Weigel.

Bobby worked at Forbes Automotive as a mechanic for 43 years before he retired. He enjoyed being active and spending time outdoors, especially a round of golf or archery. Bobby also enjoyed travel, family vacations and big band music.

Special thanks to the staff at Guelph General Hospital for their care shown to Bobby.

Cremation has taken place.  A private family service will be held at a later date.
