Obituary of Peter Michael Street

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Street, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and cherished member of his community. Peter passed away on February 25, 2024, leaving a legacy of warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.

Peter is survived by his devoted wife, Kim, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and companionship. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with joy and cherished memories. Peter's sons, Jeremy and Benjamin, and their spouses, Annie and Ashley, were his pride and joy and his constant source of inspiration and happiness.

Peter's grandchildren, Aria and Henry, were the lights of his life. He adored spending time with them, sharing stories, and laughter, and watching them grow. His love for them knew no bounds, and his legacy of love will continue to live on through them.

Peter was not only a dedicated family man but also an avid cyclist and a talented woodworker. His passion for cycling took him on countless adventures, allowing him to explore the beauty of nature and find solace in the great outdoors. In his woodworking, Peter found an outlet where he could bring his creativity to life, crafting intricate pieces that he loved to gift to friends and family to share his passion and his love for the craft.

Above all, Peter will be remembered for his kind heart, his warm smile, and his unwavering devotion to his family. He touched the lives of all who knew him with his warmth, compassion, and genuine spirit.

In addition to his immediate family, Peter is also survived by his older sister Jody, his younger brother Bud, and his mother-in-law, Margaret, who held a special place in his heart.

Peter had a special place in his heart for family pets and it shouldn't go without saying that he loved Pancakes, Waffles, Frenchie, Panda, Odin, Gary, Max, and Cooper with the same level of affection he showed all that he cared for.

Though Peter may no longer be with us in person, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, doting grandfather, and cherished friend.

As we mourn the loss of Peter, let us also celebrate the beautiful life he lived and the profound impact he had on those around him. May his memory be a source of comfort and strength during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, condolences for the family as well as donations in Peter's memory to the KidsAbility Foundation of Waterloo Region may be arranged through Erb & Good Family Funeral Home at www.erbgood.com .

Rest in peace, dear Peter. You will forever remain in our hearts, and your legacy of love will continue to inspire us all.
