Obituary of Jeanne Diane Doerbecker
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Hospice Waterloo on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at the age of 89.
Jeanne will be dearly missed by her husband Grant of 59 years, her children Cathy (Mark) and Bill (Sara). Cherished grandmother to Matthew (Kim), Mackenzie, Connor, Hayden and great grandson Emilio. Siblings Albert (Charlotte), Jack (Lois), Dorothy and brother-in-law Stephen. She will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her father William Campion, mother-in-law Ilene Doerbecker, sisters Doreen, Marie, Patricia and Gayle.
Jeanne could often be found enjoying the little things in life painting pottery, word searches and relaxing while watching TV. She especially enjoyed having her Iced Capps. Jeanne enjoyed her time with family. She spent lots of time watching her grandchildren. She attended every sporting game and practice she could. She could be heard cheering on her grandsons at their hockey games. All who knew her, loved and adored her. Jeanne was considered a second mom and special aunt to many.
Special thanks to Dr.Kolev, Dr. Yew and all of the nurses and staff at Hospice Waterloo for the care they showed Jeanne and her family. As well as to Jeanne’s PSWs Sunny, Debra, Autumn, Fazia and Cheryl for the support they provided.
A celebration of life will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday March 16, 2024 from 2:30- 4:30 p.m. with remarks at 3:30 p.m. time. Cremation has taken place.
