Obituary of Andrew Beaudet
With his devoted wife of 62 years, Annette, by his side, and surrounded by the love of his children, Sharon, Kelly, daughter in law Natalie and his cherished grandchildren, Kristey, Brock, Wyatt, and Vaughn, Andrew J. Beaudet gently departed from this world. His departure on March 13, 2024, marks the end of a journey defined by laughter, resilience, and a remarkable flair for embracing life's every moment with a grin.
Andrew's legacy is stitched together with the laughter he spread, symbolized vividly by his vast collection of hats, each adorned with slogans like "Grumpy" and "Shit happens." These were not just accessories but declarations of a life lived on his own terms, punctuated by joy and an unabashed sense of humor. His hats, much like his favorite greeting, "Hello, darling," were his way of inviting the world into his heart, shining a light on the simple truth that life, when sprinkled with laughter, becomes a treasure trove of beautiful moments and enduring friendships.
His parting wish, to have "I did it my way" play as his final farewell, encapsulates the essence of a man who viewed life through a lens of humor, teaching us all to search for and cherish the merriment hidden in life's every corner. As he took his final bow, tipping his hat, with a wide smile and a hearty "Hello, darling," Andrew danced through the gates of heaven, where his parents, Rita and Red Beaudet, his beloved daughter Kimmy, his brother Gerald, and a host of family and friends awaited him with open arms.
The absence of Andrew's warm-hearted jests and the twinkle of mirth in his eyes will be profoundly felt by all who were fortunate enough to cross his path. He leaves behind a void that will be filled with loving memories, stories of laughter, and the resounding echo of his favorite phrase, ensuring that his spirit will continue to inspire smiles and joy in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.
As per Andrew's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will not be a service at this time.
Farewell, Andrew, your legacy of laughter, resilience, and love will forever dance in our hearts.
