I had the privilege of working alongside Pat throughout her tenure at The RaeLipskie Partnership. Pat held a special place within our team, seamlessly woven into the fabric of the RaeLipskie work family. My memories of our time together are filled with warmth and camaraderie. Pat had a knack for sharing delightful recipes, such as Patti’s Rhubarb Custard Pie, and treating us to culinary delights like Cowboy Caviar with hint of lime nachos – always a welcomed healthy snack. Not to mention her thoughtful gifts of handmade ceramics, each one a testament to her creativity and generosity. Our lunch outings, accompanied by the occasional glass of red wine, were cherished moments of relaxation and laughter. Pat was the well-deserving recipient of the Lloyd F. Gower award. Pat possessed a remarkable ability to listen attentively and offer invaluable advice when needed. She often regaled us with stories of her beloved husband George, their daughters Bonnie and Christine, her escapades with girlfriends, and her enjoyment of floating in the pool. One particularly memorable anecdote was the comical mishap during a corporate social event, where George’s boy scout canoe steering skills led to an unexpected plunge into the Grand River for Pat – a moment that still brings a smile to our faces. She will be deeply missed, leaving behind a void in our hearts. Heather J. Dewar
