Obituary of Henry Francis Brick
Brick, Henry passed away peacefully on April 19, 2024 with his loving wife Linda of 60 years and his daughters Sheryl & Sheila by his side.
Henry was the husband and forever love of Linda (Schnurr), amazing and loving father of Terry (2023), Sheryl Kuepfer (Keith) and Sheila Lorentz (Mike), and father-in-law to Nancy Cook.
Loving Papa to his grandchildren, Derek (Carra), Tori Lynn, Lauren, Ryan Kuepfer (Alison), Nicole Maruscak (Adam) and Shannon Moser (Mike). Great Papa to Charles, Georgia, Kade, Hudson, Ben, Carson and Lila.
Survived by his brothers and sisters Phil (Cheryl), Clayt (Pat), Theresa Powers (Mike) and Rita Eller (Larry).
Brother and Sister in-laws Barb Brick, Helen Brick, Marie Brick, Don Symonds, Karen Schnurr, Paul Schnurr (Clarine), Lucille Scott (Howard), Wayne Schnurr (Marion), Glen Schnurr (Lynn), Rose Ann Montag (Clare), Marilyn North (John) and Tim Schnurr (Diane), and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Anthony Brick and Gertrude (Kunkel), brothers and sisters Kay Powis, George, Alf, Albin, Florence Symonds, Joe, and Richard & Raymond in infancy. Brother and sister in-laws Jim Powis, Elaine Al (Nick) and Cecil Schnurr.
Henry’s love for his family was forever present when he would look and smile at Linda. He taught all of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren a wonderful legacy of Love.
Henry was a dedicated Police Officer with the Waterloo Police Service for 32 years. He enjoyed every aspect of his career, retiring as Superintendent of Operational Support.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday April 24, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday April 25, 2024 at 10 a.m. Cremation will have taken place and an interment will be held at Parkview Cemetery immediately following the service. A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
