Obituary of Maurice Wesley Lockett

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the age of 74.

Maurice is survived by his wife Marie Lockett, children Wayne (Mabel), Anthony, Linda (Dennis), Lisa (Brandon), Cindy (Jamie), and Michael (Holly), many grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces, and nephews, sisters Adele and Dorothy, and his brother Victor.

Maurice was predeceased by his parents Audrey and Victor Lockett, brothers David, Allan, and Bill, and his sister Barb.

Maurice had a love for eagles, his computer, and the beer that Marie wouldn’t let him drink in Dennis’ garage. He enjoyed hundreds of coffees a day. Maurice was very stubborn and strong-willed, and his family will forever love him and miss him deeply.

Cremation has taken place. A Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo on Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow in the funeral home’s chapel at 3:00 p.m.
