Obituary of Maria Olivieri

Passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Hamilton General Hospital at age 86.

Survived by her loving husband Giovanni “John” of 62 years, her best friend and love of her life. Devoted mother to Anthony and David (Mirianne), cherished grandmother to Miranda, Jordan and Rachel Beechey, adoring great-grandma to Damian Kruschat, Reese and Damaian Beechey.  She will be remembered by sisters Teresa, Antoinette, and brother Francois of Belgium, as well as many extended family and friends. 

Predeceased by her parents Pellegrino and Lucia Renzulli of Italy, and her sister Anna of Canada.

Maria was born in Serino, Italy. She was a long-time member of the Cortino Club, and a devoted member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Waterloo. She had a smile for everyone that knew her.

The Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, with Father Pawel Jamroz presiding. A Reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room.
